Yeah, this actually has been an idea I've had since 10th grade, but I never had the guts to attempt it; I can happily say that I'm pleased with it. It's called conformity because it's mocking the excessive piercing of America's youth (take it how you want). I wanted to do like a background of millions of these heads, but not for now. Started with a picture from my digital camera, and I scanned a few wires along the way. The cutout effect is to help break up the detail in the human face, and the screws replace the traditional piercing positions. And yeah, I guess you could turn me on .
well, i gotta say, i do like peircing but not for conforming reasons anyway this really stood out fro everything else im lovin the colours and effects of everything, is awesome great job man
np, i noticed that myself, thats why if im just hangin out doing nuthin i just start looking at the recent deviations and comment on as many as possible. ive gained a lot of deviant watchers and comments that way.
this is brilliant, definetely a depiction of youth and technology. I've bet you've heard of how Korea deals with its tech?

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

"What wasted unconditional love on somebody who doesn't believe in the stuff... Oh, well."
Pretty cool though. Imagine if you need light in the dark, you could just plug this guy's head in somewhere and hope that his eyes will light up.
